Dear student
Thank you for your hard work during the past academic year. We think you will agree that we experienced a challenging year that produced results we can be proud of. We are hard at work to finalize the 4th quarter exam's result and will publish these as soon as the examination commission has verified the final results.
Based on the lessons learned during the 2024 academic year we are planning a number of significant changes for 2025. These are as follows:
- We are changing from a quarter based schedule to a semester based schedule. This means that we will have an examination period in the middle of the year, at the end of the year we will write an exam as well as re-examination for modules written in the middle of year. We've also added a re-examination session in January 2026 for examinations written during the end of year examinations.
- We are changing our class schedule from the traditional AM/PM sessions to a slot based system. More detail about this change will be communicated in January 2025.
- We are planning an orientation session for 2nd and 3rd year students on the 6th and 7th of February 2025. the program will be posted closer to that time.
- Classes for fulltime students will start in the 10th of February 2025 on all our sites.
- Classes for Parttime students will start on 15th of February 2025.
The official academic calendar will be posted on the BC website before the end of the year.
